Use of the website

It is generally possible to use our website without providing personal data. Your IP address is stored or processed in anonymised form. If further personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis, i.e. with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 45 days and then deleted. If data must be stored beyond this period due to legal retention obligations, it is excluded from deletion for this period.

This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. If your contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

What rights you have to your data

You have the right to information, correction, deletion or restriction as well as a right to data portability in accordance with the requirements of data protection law. Complaints can be addressed to the responsible data protection authority (https://www.dsb.gv.at).

In addition, you have the right to revoke your consent to data processing in writing to datenschutz(at)world-direct.at. This does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

Where we send your data

We do not pass on your personal data that you send us when you contact us, including your address and e-mail address, to third parties without your express consent, which you can revoke at any time. Exceptions to this are our service partners who require the transmission of data in order to provide their services (e.g. the shipping company commissioned with the delivery and our partner companies).
