AstriCon 2025 - Our cloud communication service on the big international stage

On 13 February 2025, we will be presenting this highly ambitious project at the AstriCon 2025 conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, under the telling title "How to change the engine of your car while driving at top speed on the motorway".

Our UC experts Georg Rinnhofer and Florian Lechner talk about our technically highly sophisticated and successful product initiative, in which we transformed Austria's largest Cisco telephony system with 80,000 connections into Cloud Communication Service, a solution based on the open source platform Asterisk.

Our "open-source first" approach for a system of this size has attracted international attention and Georg and Florian were invited to present how we solved the three biggest challenges, namely:

Scaling
Complex SIP routing and
stability

using a modern Kubernetes approach.

AstriCon takes place as part of the internationally renowned ITEXPO #TECHSUPERSHOW and is the meeting place for everyone involved with Asterisk.
