Web 3.0 talks with Johanna Mikl-Leitner
We have transformed our successful cooperation with Glink, which has been running since 2022, into a strategic partnership. The innovative blockchain start-up is supported by the state of Lower Austria via the "accent" incubation programme.
The very rapid entrepreneurial development of Glink and the rapid productive partnership with an IT company operating on the market has met with great interest in Lower Austrian state politics.
Johanna Mikl-Leitner therefore invited representatives of our company, the managing directors of Glink and those responsible at accent to the provincial government for a discussion.
There was particular interest in the cooperation approach, in which we operate the secure infrastructure for Glink's innovative blockchain applications, keeping the added value in the state and sustainably strengthening Austria as a location for innovative technologies.
As one of the first concrete initiatives, we have already created a platform together with Glink that makes it possible to aggregate and validate climate data from a variety of independent sources. This highly successful project was honoured with the prestigious Austrian Blockchain Award in 2023. We are currently working with Wüstenrot on a revolutionary "fair weather insurance" for the insurance industry, in which claims are processed and paid out fully automatically with the help of validated weather data.
This partnership is an important milestone for both companies and will help to develop pioneering solutions for the challenges of our time.
